Dhara Purani

Ms. Dhara Purani obtained Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering in 2011 from L D College of Engineering, Ahmedabad. After obtaining bachelor’s degree, Ms. Purani went on to pursue Master of Science degree with focus in Structural Engineering from Rutgers University, NJ USA. She successfully defended her master’s dissertation titled “Incorporating shrinkage effects in FE modeling of Prestressed Concrete Bridge” in 2013 and was awarded Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Ms. Purani has been practicing as a Structural Engineer in USA since 2013. Ms. Purani is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.). She has led design projects in various structural systems such as Concrete, Steel, CFMS, Wood, Masonry, Aluminum, Post Tensioning, Pre-Cast etc. She has design and analysis experience in Commercial, Residential and Industrial sectors. In addition to leading the structural design team, she has served as a Project Manager and Project Coordinator.
